Stucco for Gate Posts

Your association has secured grant money to improve the two front pillars next to the gate towers at the entrance.  The improvements include pyramid shaped tops that match the newly improved sign.  The existing pelicans have been placed on the curb on the west side of gate entrance.  The pillars have just been stuccoed and just need some painting to match the sign.  For more details regarding this project and other projects click here.

Improved Sign Landscaping

Your dues at work!!  The board voted to use association funds to improve on the initial landscaping that was provided by the city when the new sign was erected.  A special thanks to Jillian Studders for facilitating and implementing the design. Pompano Planning & Zoning

Per a recent Pelican newspaper article on Friday August 26, 2016, the Pompano Beach Planning & Zoning Board recommended a site plan at 1333 S. Ocean Blvd. In short, the site will contain 211 units, commercial space, parking garage and town homes.  It looks like the maximum height that will impact Terra Mar Island is 8 stories so the shadow cast on the island should be slight.  The site is located off the NE part of the island just south of Indian Mound Park.  For more info: http://pelicannewspaper.com

2016 Annual Picnic

The annual beach picnic was held on Saturday April 9th between 2:00-5:00 at the El Mar Beach Club just east of the Terra Mar entrance.  The day was a perfect with temperatures in the 70's and not a cloud in the sky.  That is why we live here!!  We had about 40 people attend which was a little light.  Hope we will have more people at the 2016 Halloween party.
